Press release: First hotel directly on the beach of Zandvoort opens its doors

Today Beachhouse Hotel welcomes its first guests in Zandvoort. This is a historic moment for Zandvoort. After 22 years a new hotel will open in the popular seaside resort. The new boutique hotel is located directly on the beach on the northern coast of Zandvoort.

Authentic materials

“In each project we ensure that authentic, preserved materials are reused from our own stock. This has been the ongoing theme in the work of Cobraspen Group for 30 years’, says Luigi Prins. ‘For example, the toograms of the former head office of the Provincial Electricity Company Noord-Holland in Bloemendaal were applied in a playful manner to the Beachhouse Hotel. These windows had been in storage for 15 years, waiting for a new destination. The authentic design chairs of the former PTT post sorting centre in Haarlem have also been restored and put into use again. The cabinets in the rooms have been given a historic touch by the use of 100-year-old slats from a building in Egypt”.

Luxury hotel rooms

The boutique hotel on the coast has 26 hotel rooms, including four luxury corner apartments with pantries. Due to the location of the hotel there is direct view from the rooms over the sea, dunes and coastline. The hotel rooms have French balconies with fronts that can be completely pushed away. The design and layout of the rooms are aligned with the location by the sea. The bathrooms are equipped with a tile that has a special wave that represents the sand of the beach.

In addition to foreign guests, Beachhouse Hotel also expects to welcome guests from the Netherlands throughout the year. Luigi Prins: “With this unique place, the luxurious rooms and all modern facilities, Beachhouse Hotel offers every guest an ultimate holiday by the sea.”

Smart digital convenience

The hotel is equipped with the newest modern techniques and equipment to provide guests with optimum contemporary convenience. For example, they can check in via the digital check-in column and the doors are ready to be opened with the mobile phone. All rooms are air-conditioned and a Wi-Fi network is available for guests.
